Pinterest Inspired Card

Hi I'm Heather and I'm a pinterest-holic!! If you have not checked out Pinterest, you have no idea what you're missing. I love that site and get on as much as I can. Today's card is inspired by a card I found while searching for card designs. It was a co-workers birthday and I got her a gift card so I thought this design fit perfectly for the gift. The original design said, shop til you drop, but I don't have a stamp with that sentiment and I was in a hurry so I didn't print it out. I love the way it turned out...it is probably one of my favorite cards I've ever made.
I hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!!

I know that Tanner is running a little low on this stamp set, so if you're interested in picking it up, you better hurry before it's sold out. You can visit Tanner's shop here. Here are pictures of the card I created. The rabbit comes from the Create a Critter cartridge and is cut at 4 inches.
Thanks for stopping by!

Easter Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the Mr. Cricut Crazy design team blog hop! Today we are show casing one of his newly released stamp sets, Easter Blessings. I am so excited about this stamp set because of it's versatility. The images are so cute as well. You should be coming from Tanner's blog. If not, please make sure you start there, leave a comment and follow his blog because he's giving away a surprise package of goodies! Make sure you hop to everyone's blog and look at their fantastic projects.
For my card, I used a couple of different of cartridges and designed the layout on my Gypsy. The background came from A Child's Year, and the rabbit comes from Gypsy Wanderings. The banner is from Emma's banner kit set. I used white embossing powder and the 2 egg images from the Easter Blessings set to add some decoration to the banner. The paper comes from DCWV's Garden Party 8x8 cardstock pack. As a final touch I added some brown sugar twine, which can also be purchased on Tanner's site, some crystal stickles on the rabbit, and using the iRock tool, I added some clear gemstones.
I hope you enjoy the hop! Your next stop is Vicky's blog. Have a great day :)

Hugs,
Heather

Here is the line up for the hop:

Design Team Monday!

Hello everyone! Welcome to another design team Monday, brought to you by MrCricutCrazy. Today, we're highlighting Tanner's new stamp set entitled, Easter Blessings. I am in love with this stamp set. I previewed it last week, and this week I decided to do another Valentine's Day card using this stamp set. I used the sentiment, "Basket Full of Love." The basket and hearts came from the Doodlecharms cartridge the basket is cute at 2 3/4 inches while the hearts are cut anywhere from 1/4 inch to 1 1/4 inch.. The background paper is from the $2.00 paper pack found at Michael's. The frame around the basket is from a Sizzix die. If you want more details or would like to see a video tutorial, please let me know. Thanks for stopping by today and make sure you stop by the other designer's blogs as well.
Have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather

Flashback 2011

Hello and welcome to another Design Team Monday! Today, Tanner challenged us to look back at our last 6 months on the design team and pick our 3 favorite projects. This was quite a challenge for me as I have really loved using all of Tanner's stamps!
I've stated this before, but I originally started with strictly scrapbooking, and never thought I could love making cards. After using Tanner's stamps, has really made my love of card making grow! Not to mention all of the inspiration I receive from all of the other design team members. Along with all of the friends I have met through YouTube and other blogs I follow. So, thank you everyone for the inspiration you provide!
Now, for my 3 favorite projects of 2011.

The first on I chose was my very first project for MrCricutCrazy using his stamps set, Man's Best Friend Vol. 1. I also have a youtube video show casing this card so if you're interested in watching it here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sflVYX4FHv0

My next card uses a sentiment from Simply Everything Vol. 1. Again I have a video for this card: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOcITUc0lw8

My final project uses a sentiment from Dads, Dads. This is a stamp set celebrating all of the guys in our lives. I also colored an image I found online using my Bic Mark-Its.

I hope you've enjoyed this look back at the past. Make sure you take a look at everyone's Flashback! Have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather

Design Team Monday!

Happy 2012!!!
Hello everyone and welcome to another MrCricutCrazy Design Team Monday :) Today we had some freedom as to which stamp set to use and since the end of December is full of birthdays around my family, I decided to use Tanner's Birthday, Birthday set. My sister is a turtle fanatic so I googled an image, printed it off, and colored it using my Bic Mark-its. This card is a little different for me as it measures 5 1/4 x 5 1/4. I also used some paper that I received for Christmas and a deep edge Martha Stuart punch I also received for Christmas. I hope you enjoy this card and make sure you check out the other great card that were created today!

Hugs,
Heather
