Design Team Wednesday

Hello everyone and welcome to another Design Team Wednesday! For today's post, I used one of Mr. Cricutcrazy's newest stamp sets called, Office, Office. I just love this set! My stepfather recently got a new job, so I thought I would make him a card to congratulate him. I used the Guy Stack from DCWV, as well as the Handy Man cartridge. The hammer is cut at 2 1/4 inches and the nails are cut at 1 1/2 inches. For the inside of the card, I just used some alphabet stamps I had. I also tried a new layout just for something different and I am glad I did. I am going to continue to try to use different layouts on my cards just for something different to do :)
Make sure you check out the other design team member's projects and the other great stamp sets Tanner has to offer.
Have a great day!!

Hugs,
Heather

Card Box

Hello everyone...I was lucky enough to spend some more time in my craft room this week. I made a card box and some matching cards to go inside. I learned how to made the card box from the ever-so-talented Schell. Click here to be directed to the video. I had so much fun making these that I'm thinking of making them for the nurses who will be taking care of me after I have my son (as you can see on the right, I don't have much time so my intentions are to get them done within the next couple of days, keep your fingers crossed for me). For the box and the cards, I used the DCWV stack, Green Tea. I love the papers in this stack! I also used a variety of Mr. CricutCrazy sentiments from various sets. I added some baker's twine, and ribbon as a little extra embellishment but for the most part, I wanted to keep them simple. The butterfly on the top of the box comes from the Elegant Edges cartridge and is cut at 2 1/2 inches.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. It's back to work for me tomorrow, but sometimes schedules are nice :)

Hugs,
Heather

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hello everyone! I have been busy making Easter cards today. We're on Spring Break this week, so I thought I'd spend some times in my craft area. I used Doodlecharms for the bunnies, they're cut at 2 inches. The scallop comes from the Bloom cartridge and is cut at 3 inches, then I ran it through the Seeing Spots Cuttlebug folder. The background paper comes from a KI memories pack that I received for Christmas from my Auntie. Finally, the sentiment comes from Mr. CricuctCray's stamp set, Easter Blessings. I hope you're having a great week!!

Hugs,
Heather
