Naughty or Nice?

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a mini notebook that I altered to keep track of the gifts I still need to buy for Christmas. I bought a pack of 3 notebooks for $0.88 at Walmart. Then I covered the front and back with red cardstock. I used Create a Critter 2 to make the 3 in. tree. I also used a border punch, stickles, and a stamp. The tree was then placed on an action wobble. I can't wait to make more of these and place them in gifts for my friends and family to use next year.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great weekend!

Hugs,
Heather

Halloween Blog Hop-Action Wobble Style!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Action Wobble blog hop!! We're excited to introduce some new members and show off these wonderful wobbles.
If you started here, please go to the beginning of the hop with the Action Wobble website.

For my card today, I used a variety of Cricut cartridges and papers. Most of the papers come from a Recollections paper pack I picked up last year, but I lost the cover; hence, I don't have the name of the line. The base and black paper both come from recollections cardstock. The ghost comes from the Mini Monsters cartridge and is cut at 2 1/2 inches. The cut behind the ghost comes from the Elegant Edges cartridge and is cut at 3 3/4 inches. The BOO is cut from the Alphalicious cartridge and is cut at 1 inch. I had to add a little sparkle, so I added some Black Diamond Stickles and the tinsel bow. I have 2 boys and a husband at home, so it's nice to add a girly touch to some things :) The ghost was then placed on an Action Wobble!

I hope you're enjoying this hop. Your next stop is the ever-so-talented Midge
Oh and for the fabulous prizes, how could I forget!! There will be a Royal Package provided by the Scrapbooking Queen and Action Wobbles. To be eligible, you need to be a follower on all of the blogs, and comment on all of our postings. Theresa will be drawing a name on Monday, November 5, 2012.

Pretty in Pink

Action Wobble

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Saturated Canary/Action Wobble Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the ever so talented Fabi. If you are arriving here first, please start at the beginning. Today I am so excited to showcase the image entitled: Thank You
Today I created a card. I used shades of pink recollection paper and a piece of polka dot patterned paper from my stash. I also cut out a daisy image from the Doodlecharms Cartridge at 1/12inches, I placed a button in the center and then placed the flower on an action wobble. Behind the cute Thank you girl, I placed the sentiment Queen of Everything from the Scrapbooking Queen's stamp set.  The image was so much fun to color too (and believe me I'm no expert). I just used my Bic Mark-it markers to color her in.
I hope you're enjoying this blog. You're next stop is the very creative Vick
Don't forget to comment on everyone's post as there are some amazing prizes! Each member of the Action-Wobble team is giving away a set of action wobbles :) Good luck everyone and have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather

Got Books?

Action Wobble

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Saturated Canary/Action Wobble Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the ever so talented Fabi. If you are arriving here first, please start at the beginning. Today I am so excited to showcase the image entitled: What the Librarian Reads...
As soon as I saw her, I knew exactly what I wanted to create. This summer, we took the boys to get their library cards. We also signed Christian up for the Summer Reading Program our library hosts every summer. Christian loves books, just like his momma :) He fell in love the minute we walked into the library and loves our weekly visits.
Instead of placing the image on the wobble, I decided to place the title Got Books? on the wobble. I just love the way this layout turned out! The image was so much fun to color too (and believe me I'm no expert). I just used my Bic Mark-it markers to color her in.
I hope you're enjoying this blog. You're next stop is the very creative Vick

Featured Designer

Hello everyone. Today for my featured design post, I used the Queen's stamp set, Royal Sayings. I had so much fun creating this card. I also used the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge, one of my all-time favorites! The envelope is cut at 2 inches, the two hearts under the sentiment are cut at 3 3/4 inches. The paper comes from the DCWV stack, Animal Crackers.
Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it!

Have a great day.

Inky Antics Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Inky’s Action Wobbles Co-Hop! We’re excited that the Inky Antics and Action Wobbles Design Teams are hopping together this month. You’ve come from Trudy’s blog . I used 11116MC, Halloween Witch HoneyPOP Clear Set  drawn by artist Honey Pop, along with an Action Wobbles spring to create this project.
For my treat box, I used some cardstock from Recollections and the patterned paper was from my stash so I'm not sure what company it is from. The witch comes from the Inky Antic's set Halloween Witch, I colored her using my Bic Mark-its. She is on an action wobble. The sentiment comes from the same set. I just love the way this bag turned out and I can't wait to make more.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you continue along the blog hop.
Hugs,
Heather

You can find the Action Wobbles on the main Inky website here (http://www.inkyantics.com/acc5.htm), and the stamps used in this hop are shown here (http://www.inkyantics.com/september2012hop.htm
The blog hop starts today and ends tomorrow at midnight. Please visit each DT members’ blog to view their projects and leave a comment for each designer. The more you comment, the better your chances are to win. (Limit one comment per blog, please). Inky Antics will be drawing THREE people’s names at random, who will each receive an Inky Halloween clear set and a dozen Action Wobbles. The winners’ names will be announced on the Inky Antics(insert link) blog on Monday morning, so remember to stop back and see if you’ve won. The Action Wobbles folks will also be sponsoring some fun blog candy, so be sure to check out their prizes, too!

Caught a Bug?

Hello everyone! Today I made a get well card for a friend of mine. I wanted to put a smile on her face and thought an action wobble would do the trick. The "germ" comes from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge and is cut at 3 in. The sentiment and the jewels comes from The Scrapbooking Queen. A card this bright and spring-y should put a smile on anyone's face :)
Have a great day!!

Hugs,
Heather

EAD/Action Wobble blog hop

Hello everyone! I am so excited that Action-Wobbles have teamed up with EAD Designs for this fabulous hop!!
If you started here, please head over to Theresa's blog. That way, you can see everyone's wonderful projects and be eligible for the blog candy which includes a gift certificate to EAD Designs and 12 Action Wobbles.

For my first project, I used Journaling Cards. This Friday, my oldest son, Christian, will be 4 years old! I cannot believe how quickly he has grown. His favorite movie is Cars, so of course we're having a Cars theme birthday party for him. I thought I would get a head start on his scrapbook, so I made an 8x8 layout featuring an Action-Wobble as well. Lightning McQueen comes from the Cars cartridge and is cut at 2 1/2 inches. The yellow mat is cut at 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 and the red mat is cut at 6 1/4 x 4 1/4. The journaling card measure 2 1/4 x 3 1/4. I thought the look of the journaling cards were perfect for a little boy's layout as they have the handmade look to them.

My second project is an A2 size card. My absolute favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz!! I was thrilled to see this set of stickers on EAD Designs. I used the Graphic 45 The Magic of Oz paper and the EAD Design stickers entitled Wizard of Oz. I just love the sentiment, one of my favorite quotes from the Wizard is this sentiment he says to the Tin Man. The heart comes from the Lyrical Letters cartridge and is cut at 2 3/4 inches and is placed on an action wobble. I then ran some cream sheer ribbon through the edges. I also distressed all of the edges and then inked them up with vintage photo by Tim Holtz. I love the look of this card and it will definitely stay in my stash forever :)

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you continue on through the hop and comments on everyone's post in order to be eligible for the blog candy.
Have a great day! Your next stop is the very talented Shelly.

Hugs,
Heather
