Color Fusers Blog Hope for July 2017

Hello everyone and welcome to the Color Fusers July Blog Hop! I hope you've all enjoyed what you've seen so far and have been inspired.  The line up is at the bottom of this post, please be sure to view everyone's blog for more inspiration.

I really enjoyed working with these colors this month and I hope you enjoy my card!

For my project today, I created a birthday card. An X-ray card to be exact! The window sheet gives the illusion of an X-ray. When I looked at these colors, I immediately thought of a masculine card. While this card is masculine, I'm thinking it would work best for a younger boy's birthday.

Inside of the card

I used the stamp set, No Bones About It (138756). This is the first time I've used this set and I'm hooked! When I showed my boys the card, they thought it was a magic trick haha. I actually cased this card from video by Dawn Griffith, click on her name to view the video. Since it was more of a child's card, there is minimal embellishments which makes it pretty quick to complete.
I hope you've enjoyed this card as much as I did making it. If you're interested in purchasing any of the supplies to create this card, please feel free to visit my site. I'd love to have your business. If you've ever thought of selling Stampin Up, now would be the perfect month to do so! Stampin Up is offering some Christmas in July incentives to new demonstrators. Please contact me for more information if you're interested! It would be fun to add you to my team!!

Here is a list of the supplies I used followed by the blog hop lineup. I'm so thankful you stopped by my blog today and I hope you've picked up some inspiration. Enjoy the hop and I'll see you soon!

Color Fusers Blog Hop- March

Hello everyone! Welcome back for another Color Fusers Blog Hop! I was super excited when I saw these colors. Something about them just really sparked my creativity.
For this card, I used the So In Love stamp set (143216). If you're interested in this set, I highly recommend the bundle (144739) as the dies are beautiful. I used the stamp set to create the background pattern. I love how it looks like spring, which I have been waiting patiently for as this winter seems to keep dragging on, but I digress! The cuts I used to mount the sentiment both come from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (145372). For an added touch, I used some rhinestones (119246). The wild wasabi ribbon is no longer available, but might I suggest the Mint Macaron 3/8" Sheer Linen Ribbon (141656).
I hope you enjoyed my card today. If you're interested in any of these products, or any product that Stampin Up has to offer, visit my website at  Please scroll down through the pictures and find the blog line-up. Color Fusers Blog Hop- February

Hello everyone! Happy New Year since I haven't been able to wish you all that yet. Things have been so busy around here, both of my sisters are getting married this year so preparations are underway!

Today, I'd like to welcome you to the Color Fusers Monthly Blog Hop! This month's colors are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, and Peekaboo Peach. These were kind of a struggle for me at first. I wasn't sure what I could create with these colors, especially when I love putting green in each project I create 😉 Finally, I decided I'm always in need of thank you cards so I'll start with that. I recently purchased one of the new thank you sets, Thankful Thoughts (141522) and I just loved the font used for this thank you. I've also been trying to make my own backgrounds, they never turn out the way I wanted them to. The stamp set Gorgeous Grunge (130517) lets you have some freedom with your backgrounds. I really enjoy using this set on a variety of projects. I especially like the stripe stamp, it reminds me of a strip of washi tape. This way, you can customize it to whatever color you need it to be. I also decided to make a masculine and feminine version of this card. You never know who you may need to give a thank you to. I used Wink of Stella (141897) to add a bit of sparkle to the wings of the smaller butterflies.

I hope you enjoyed these projects. Please follow the hop lineup at the bottom of this post for more inspiration. If you're interested in any of the products used, or any of the products that Stampin Up has to offer, please visit my website:

Have a great day and happy stamping :)

Color Fusers Blog Hop- September Part 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the Color Fusers Blog Hop! This month, we're using the colors; Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron, and Rich Razzleberry.
For my card today, I've created a birthday card! September is full of family member's birthdays, so I have been busy creating them. To create this card, I used a couple of different stamp sets and thinlits.
First, I used the Thoughtful Branches (144328) bundle to create the hydrangea with leaves. Then I used Jar of Love bundle (142342) to create the jar and bow. The stamp Just for You comes from Watercolor Wings (139424). Unfortunately, the Happy Birthday stamp comes from a retired set, but we have so many birthday stamps in our sets. In the search bar on the website, if you type in birthday, you'll find all of the possibilities.  Please visit my site here to purchase any of these products.

Thanks for stopping by today. Please make sure to visit everyone else's blogs to see the amazing projects they have created!

Color Fusers Blog Hop: August Part 2

Hello everyone! Thanks for joining us for another Color Fusers blog hop! Once again, we're highlighting the colors: Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, and Watermelon Wonder.

Today I've created a birthday card using the stamp set Fresh Fruit (141770). This was a very simple card to make. I know how busy our schedules can be, so easy cards are the way to go! I used the card base, Whisper White cardstock (100730) to stamp my flower image using Cherry Cobbler Ink (126966) and Watermelon Wonder Ink (138323). For the center of the flower and the sentiment I used Smoky Slate Ink (131179). To allow the sentiment to stand out more, I cut a 1 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch strip of  designer paper from the Regals Designer Series Paper Stack (138436).

I hope you enjoyed seeing this week's card. If you have any questions or you would like to purchase any of the supplies used to make this card, I'd love to earn your business! Please visit my website at

Please make sure to visit the rest of the demonstrators in the hop as they have some wonderful projects that will be sure to provide some inspiration.

Have a great day!

Color Fusers Blog Hop: August Part 1

Hello everyone and welcome to the Color Fuse blog hop! This month, we are focusing on the colors Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate, and Watermelon Wonder. These are beautiful colors alone, but together, they are gorgeous.
I love Pinterest, don't you? I got my inspiration from a picture I found on Pinterest.
For my card today, I used the stamp set entitled Grateful Bunch (item numbers and a link to my Stampin Up store can be found below the pictures). I stamped the largest flower in Cherry Cobbler and Watermelon Wonder on my A2 size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). I then used a piece of vellum paper, cut at 4 x 5 1/4, as an overlay. On top of the vellum, I cut a strip of Smoky Slate card stock at 1 1/2 x 4 and stamped the stitched leaves, in the same color. I then stamped a single flower in Watermelon Wonder and used my scissors to fussy cut it, then I placed a dimensional on the flower and placed it on the Smoky Slate piece. The Smoky Slate strip acts as a cover for my adhesive, that is how I attached the vellum paper to the card, by placing my snail under the strip. I then stamped the sentiment and placed it along the strip.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! If you have any questions, or would like to purchase any of the materials used, please visit my Stampin Up site here. Again, the item numbers are listed under the pictures :)
Please visit the rest of the talented demonstrators involved in the hop and gather some more inspiration using these gorgeous colors.

Color Fusers Blog Hop- July 2016- Part 2

Welcome to part 2 of the Color Fusers blog hop! Thank you for stopping by, today I have a gift idea for you! I create a card keeper portfolio which holds 4 cards and 4 envelopes. I learned this technique from Meg Loven, you can watch her video here.

For my portfolio, I used Whisper White card stock (100730), the Butterfly Thinlits Dies (137360), Rhinestone basic jewels (119246), Gorgeous Grunge Clear-Mount Stamp Set (130517), Cucumber Crush Ink Pad (138324), Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad (141397), and Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad (141398).

To create this card, I cut my layer, stamped random blotches using the splatter stamp from the set, then I used the butterfly thinlit to cut out the butterfly. I used my snail adhesive to adhere the butterfly's body to the card. I really enjoyed making this portfolio and I hope you give it a try.

If you want to purchase any of the materials used to create this project, please visit my Stampin Up website at Stampin Up is running a fantastic rewards program. For every $50 you spend in July, Stampin Up will email you a $5 coupon to use in August!

Thanks again for stopping by today and please follow the rest of the links to visit the rest of the demonstrators in the hop, located below the pictures of my project.
