Altered Project

Hello everyone and Happy Halloween! Today I have an altered project for you. I recently visited my local Dollar Tree and found these cute wooden shelves (that is what they called them but I would consider them more of a frame). I love everyone's configuration boxes they alter but they have always been a little intimidating to me so I thought I would give one of these a try first. I had so much fun creating/altering this! I can't wait to go and buy some more. I used Fancy Pants October 31 paper line, doodlebug mini gems, recollections mulberry paper flowers and brads, a paper flower I made, and finally Pink By Design's Guess Who stamp set.
I hope you and your family have a Happy and Safe Halloween.
Have a Spooky Day :)

Hugs,
Heather

Mother Goose Blog Hop!

Goose Blog Hop! You should have come from Janis's blog. If you just happened to start here at my blog, please go to the beginning starting with The Queen. This is an amazing hop with some wonderful projects that should bring back many memories from your childhood days of reading the famous Mother Goose Rhymes!
I had so much fun creating a scrapbook layout today. Our pumpkin patch in town has a wonderful Storybook Farm for younger children to explore. As soon as I saw the Little Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe, I knew right away which nursery rhyme I was going to represent. I used an image found online using google search, a 12x12 piece of paper from the DCWV stack Mom's Kitchen stack, 2 photo mats measuring 4 1/2 x 6 1/2, a journaling lines stamp, and some rhinestones using the iRock tool. I have also included the pictures that I will be adding to my layout below :) My son had so much fun exploring the farm! Below, you will also find the rules for the amazing blog candy the Queen is offering! I hope you enjoy the hop.
Your next stop is Liz.
Have a great day!

Design Team Monday!

Hello everyone and welcome to another Design Team Monday for MrCricutCrazy! Today, I created a card using the Halloween Town stamp set. This stamp set is perfect for all of your Halloween projects! I have had so much fun using this stamp set to create some great projects I can't wait to share with you, so please come back daily to view these Spooky Creations :)
The card is a basic A2 card base measuring 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The purple layer measures 4 x 5 1/4 and I ran it through a paper studio embossing folder which I recently picked up at Hobby Lobby. The pumpkin is cut out from the Simply Charmed cartridge at 3 1/2 inches. Then to top it off, I added the sentiment pick of the patch! I hope you enjoyed today's card and please make sure you visit the other amazing design team members!
Have a Terror-ific day :)

Krafty Keekerz Blog-A-Versary

Welcome to Krafty Keekerz and the Krafty Keekerz Blogaversary Hop!

Today we are celebrating the 1st Anniversary of Krafty Keekerz' Blog!

If you've come from visiting Jamie's thanks for hopping along!! If you're just visiting and would like to start from the beginning you can go to http://keekerzcrafts.blogspot.com/. This hop will feature craft projects with a kitty-cat theme! You will want to check out each blog for some great ideas and some sweet blog candy. Courtney is offering some awesome blog candy compliments of Mr. Cricut Crazy! Happy hopping everyone and enjoy the fun!

First of all, I want to wish Courtney a Happy Blog-A-Versary!!!

Today I made a card using Create a Critter and the Pet Stack from DCWV. I also used a sentiment from MrCricutCrazy. I was meant to be a dog sentiment, but I thought it worked perfectly for this card. I cut the cat at 3 1/4 inches. The card base is cut 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2 and again at 2 3/4. The mat for the smaller piece is cut 2 1/2 x 4 inches and the larger mat is cut at 5 1/4 x 4 inches. I hope you enjoy this card and enjoy the rest of the the hop :) Your next stop is Holly. You can see the rest of the lineup below the pictures.

Have a great day!!

Hugs,

~Heather

Got Candy?

Hello everyone! Today I used the Mini Monsters cartridge to create a cute Halloween Card. I also used Tanner's Halloween Town stamp set, which you can find at http://www.mrcricutcrazy.com. I also made a video to go along with today's post! Can you believe it?!?! With the craziness of the start of the school year, I just haven't had much time for making videos. I am back in the swing of things now so I'm looking forward to spending more time in my craft studio!
I also have some exciting news to share, we will have a new addition to the family in April! Going through my first trimester, is another reason I haven't really felt like being in my craft studio. We find out if it's a boy or a girl in November so look for that update next month :)
I hope you enjoy this card and I'll see you next time :) Have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather
