Design team Monday

Hello everyone and welcome to another Design Team Monday post for the MrCricutCrazy design team. Today, I used the stamp set, Dads, Dads. This is a great stamp set to celebrate those important men in your life. I also used a digital stamp I found through a google search. To color the image, I used a combination of Bic Mark-its and Zig markers I've had forever. For the background, I used a piece of orange cardstock that I ran through the distressed stripes Cuttlebug folder, then I ran some orange twine also sold through MrCricutCrazy. I distressed all of the edges and then I used the Tea Dye distress ink from Tim Holtz around the edges of the image. I hope you enjoy this week's card. Have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather

Design Team Monday

Happy Monday everyone! Today, I have another design team project for you from the MrCricutCrazy design team. Today, I used the Gus stamp set to create this cute tag. The sentiment worked perfectly to introduce our newest addition to the family. My husband heard of a lady who had a mom and her 7 puppies dropped off in her backyard overnight. They are 1/2 chocolate lab 1/2 Brittany and he just had to have one. In Dec. he had to put his Brittany of 16 years down due to failing health and since then, he has always had a little hole in his heart. So we chose a female and have named her Ellie. She's a great dog, and Christian absolutely loves her! I hope you enjoy this week's project and I should be back soon with videos :)
Have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather

Design Team Monday

Hello everyone! It's that time once again...time for another MrCricutCrazy stamp release. This month, he has truly outdone himself. He has 3 new stamp sets this month and 1 is Halloween related! Please visit his blog/shop to purchase these new stamp sets.
For my card today, I used the Pixie stamp set. This set has 2 great dog images and a variety of sentiments. Again, to show you the versatility of these stamps, I made a card that is not dog related to show you that you don't have to have a dog or be a dog lover to fall in love with these stamps. The pie image comes from the cartridge Simply Charmed and it is cut at 3 inches. The background paper is from DCWV Nana's Kitchen Stack. I added some pink ribbon and some pink bling for added embellishments on the card. I hope you enjoy this new release. All of the design team members are posting today to show off these great stamps so make sure to stop by all of their blogs to see their amazing work. Have a great day!
Hugs,
Heather

My Elephantastic Blog Hop

Good morning :) Today we are celebrating Tanner's friend Karey's birthday. She is an elephant fan so I incorporated the Create a Critter elephant on my card. He is cut out at 2 1/4 inches. I used the hat from the cartridge, found with the snake, and the balloon found with the snake. The string on the balloon is Divine Twine in green apple. The design on the balloon comes for the confetti stamp on the Birthday, Birthday stamp set, and emerald green Archival ink. You can find all of these products on MrCricutCrazy's blog. I hope you enjoy this hop. Your next visit will be the super talented Vicky. Have a great day! Below the pictures you will find the complete line up for today's blog.
Hugs,
Heather

Design Team Monday

Hi everyone :) Welcome to another Design Team Monday with MrCricutCrazy. Today, I used the stamp set Birthday, Birthday. I really enjoy using the stamp set on all of my birthday layouts, cards, and other projects. The project for today is a gift card holder. I used the Circut cartridge Wild Card to create this holder. On the front of the holder, I used some clear embossing powder and the birthday hat stamp from the set to create a background. On top of the hats, I used the cupcake stamp. I colored in the stamp with my Bic Mark-its and the fussy cut it out. On the inside of the holder, I used a sentiment from the set. I hope you enjoy this project and make sure to check out the other awesome design team member's posts for today!
It's the first day of school for our district today, so that is why I've been MIA for a couple of weeks, I've been busy preparing for my new group and putting my classroom back together. I hope you all have a great day!
Hugs,
Heather
