Guest Designer Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of The Scrapbooking Queen's release. Once again, I want to thank Theresa and her team for the opportunity to guest design for this release. You should have come from the talented Melissa's blog. Today, we are showcasing Royal Sayings 2. This set has so many amazing possibilities, it was hard to choose what to make. I used A Child's Year to make this cute little princess, she is cut at 3 inches. The crowns also come from the same cart and are cut at 3/4 in. I used some of the Queen's Royal Twine as an accent to the card. Please see the rules below to be entered into the amazing giveaway. Your next stop is the oh so creative Sherri. Happy Hopping!!

We are all so excited about these new stamps, and know you will be too! The Queen will be giving to one lucky winner the stamp set showcased for the day...here are the rules:

Must be a Royal Follower of The Scrapbooking Queen's Blog ( We would love for you to follow us also).
Must leave a comment on each of the Royal Court DT blogs, for both days.

The Queen will also be giving away a grand prize at the end of the hop to one lucky winner, which will consist of both stamp sets released this weekend and other little royal goodies. Design Team Wednesday

For the Wobble Wednesday post, please scroll down :)

Happy 4th of July!

For today's card, I created an invitation that I sent to our family members we'll be welcoming to our home today. I used the Cricut Lite Cartridge, Block Party. The grill is cut at 3 inches and each of the food items is cut at 1 inch. The sentiment comes from the Mr. CricutCrazy stamp set, Summertime Fun. Although this is a simple card, it shows the basics at a bbq!

I hope you all have a safe and Happy July 4th!!

Hugs,
Heather

Wobble Wednesday Challenge #17

Hello everyone! I have some very exciting news...I have been asked to join the Wobble Wednesday design team. Please head over to the Wobble Wednesday blog to learn more about the challenges.
For my card, I made an A2 size card. The white layer measures 5 1/4 x 4 and I ran it through the Stars Cuttlebug folder. To create the banner, I used Emma's banner kit set. The USA letters measure 1 inch. The rocket comes from the Sweet Treats cartridge, and is cut at 3 1/2 inches. It was then placed on a wobble.

I just adore this card and hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Again, head over to the Wobble Wednesday blog to get more details about the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day.

Hugs,
Heather

Design Team Wednesday

Hello everyone...Happy first day of summer :) In honor of the start of summer, I created a card using Tanner's Summertime Fun stamp set. The sunglasses come from the Forever Young cartridge cut at 2 inches. I love the bright colors of summer and this Lime Twist paper worked perfectly to show off those colors.
Have a great day!

Hugs,
Heather

Part 3-Card

Welcome to part 3 of the Father's Day set. What better way to top off the set than with a card! This is an A2 size card. The shirt is cut at 4 inches. I inked around the edges with the Tim Holtz frayed burlap ink. The sentiment comes from the Mr. Cricutcrazy sentiment set, Dads, Dads.
I hope you've enjoyed this set!

Have a great day!!

Hugs,
Heather

Altered Picture Frame

Hello everyone! Welcome to part 2 of the 3 part Father's Day set. Today's project is an altered picture frame. I bought this picture frame at Michaels in their wood section for $1. First, I painted the back and the edges with Khaki Folk Art paint. Then I used some patterened paper from the My Mind's Eye Lost and Found collection to cover the front. I used Modge Podge to glue it down. Then using the Simply Charmed cartridge, I cut some ties out at 1 inch. The 2012 comes from George and Basic shapes using the shadow cut, also 1 inch. I inked the edges of all of the cuts with Frayed Burlap by Tim Holtz.
Thanks for stopping by. See you on Friday for part 3.

Hugs,
Heather
